Music plays a fundamental role in the outcome of your wedding, therefore it is essential for you to give importance to this key ingredient which sets the mood for a very special moment in your lives.


 CHOICE OF STYLE

The choice of musical style is the first step towards deciding for the right entertainer/s for your wedding.  The musical style has to be chosen in conjunction with the venue, and the type of atmosphere you want to create.  For example, if you are planning for a garden wedding, you can choose romantic, modern ballads, and bossa nova.  If you prefer a more serious and classical atmosphere, then it would be more appropriate to choose a venue where a pianoforte is available.  Never opt for a band if you intend to have just a sit-down meal, as this would be too bombastic. 


It is always advisable and safe to choose a musician who provides varied music (old and modern), in order to cater for the guests of different age groups and tastes.  Never choose your favourite college band that only plays what you like, on the contrary, always take your guests into consideration.  However, it would be worth asking for an overall style of the music at your wedding.  For example, the couple may still want a quiet, relaxing wedding where guests and families can socialize and talk.  Therefore the entertainer must ensure that he caters for different tastes and at the same time maintains a constant atmosphere.

Jason has over ten years experience in entertaining at various top hotels, restaurants, Gala dinners, weddings, and other events.  He plays solo piano or keyboard synthesizer and offers special attention for the Bride and Groom's music requests.

Jason can offer beautiful, live instrumental music with his keyboard, creating highly professional orchestral sounds like strings, harp, harpsichord, and piano, rendering a unique spiritual atmosphere to accompany your memorable ceremony.  His repertoire includes, Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod, Jesu Joy of Man’s desiring by Bach, May It Be by Enya, and much more.




FOR THE RECEPTION / MEAL:



Jason can offer live music both on the classical pianoforte as well as the synthesizer, depending on the couple's tastes.  His vast repertoire, which includes, romantic musicals, Bossa nova, Latin, samba, music from 50's and60's, and modern, makes it possible to cater for the various tastes of your guests.  


Jason is also equipped to provide MP3 music.  This would ensure that the music does not stop during his break or at any time.

Things for you to remember

  • express your preferences with the musician/s regarding the control of the music's volume.
  • ask for a contract which includes information on, stipulated breaks, songs requested, overtime rate if any, deposit payed and balance due, and deadline for payment.
  • inform the musician/s prior to the cake cutting, etc, to play the chosen requests.
